Barrington Area Conservation Trust and the Barrington Area Library invite you to explore the beauty and function of native plants. Environmental Restoration Specialist David Eubanks has restored native ecologies with privat...
- Amanda SDave replaced our boring front lawn with native prairie plants and a rain garden. He was by far the most responsive contractor I've ever worked with, not to mention knowledgeable and enthusiastic about ecological landscaping. I wanted to learn about native plants and landscape design, and he was happy to answer all my questions. On top of all this, his crew was very professional and FAST. 10/10 would hire again.
- Deb WYou can certainly trust David Eubanks and he knows his native plants, that’s for sure. We moved into a home on Wonder Lake and after hunting for two years, we finally found Dave. He was the only native landscaper we spoke to that would work on our double lot lakefront slope to preserve those native plants already there, get rid of invasives and plant new natives. It had been left unattended for years. Everyone else wanted to destroy via poison and start fresh! With this crazy weather, we had to wait 2 months longer than planned, but he came in with his crew of 4 amazing men and did the job in one day. The clean up was awesome too! You cannot go wrong with this incredible team!!!!!!! I am still waiting for my plant schematic, cause I have no idea what is where, but I know he’ll come through!!! Thank you Dave!
- Susan LBarrington Area Conservation Trust has utilized Dave for a number of properties for restoration as well as referred him to area landowners. Dave is an extremely knowledgeable ecologist and restoration expert. He has developed management plans and implemented restoration efforts at our preserves as well as led restoration workdays. Additionally, Dave recently led a talk on native plants for your home landscape which received rave reviews and was very well attended. It is a pleasure working with Dave as he is always willing to answer questions and offer advice on projects that come up. His knowledge and ease of working on restoration projects as well as his flexibility to lead a group of volunteers of all ages to help in restoration efforts is invaluable.
